  17.     I just wanted to warn you when dealing with Better Concepts in 
  18. New York. They're an Amiga dealer and usually Span a 2 page ad in Amiga 
  19. Computing magazine each month.

  21.     DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

  23.     Why?

  25.     Here's my on going saga...
  26.  
  27.     I ordered an A1200 with an accelerator from them (the person who 
  28. helped me was Craig) in December. THey said they have the computer out 
  29. within  a week. I ddn't get it until January 16th or sometime around then.
  30.  
  31.     When I received my computer, it did not have OS3.1 that I had 
  32. ordered. Who packs equipment and doesn't check to make sure everything 
  33. you ordered is in there?

  35.     So, I called them back up, I was moving so Craig couldn't send 
  36. UPS to my place to pick up the package, I had to pay for shipping. He 
  37. said they'd reimburse me. Fine. 
  38.  
  39.     I sent the package off, they got it, put in the 3.1 ROMS and 
  40. installed OS3.1. Then they sent it out. Craig said it was shipped out on 
  41. a Thursday. The following Wednesday came and still nothing from UPS. I 
  42. called and talked to a Peter. He gave me the tracking number, said he 
  43. called UPS and UPs said it was en route. Now, I know he didn't call UPS 
  44. because I called UPS as soon as I got the tracking number and they said 
  45. there wasn't even an origin scan on my computer. So, how could it be in 
  46. transit?

  48.      They finally got my computer out February 2nd and I got it on the 
  49. 6th. Now, I open the package -- there's no OS3.1 disks like I had 
  50. ordered, there's no reimbursement check, and sure enough now the entire 
  51. keyboard is broken and does not work!

  53.     I'm am going to post this message quite frequently to remind you 
  54. Amiga Users who not to deal with until they finally get their act 
  55. together and get me the computer I should have had over 2 months ago now.

  57.     They have also yet to return any phone calls. I talked to a John 
  58. several times and he was supposed to get back to me on a few occassions 
  59. -- never did. Peter was supposed to get back to me after I called and 
  60. left a message for him -- never did.
  61.  
  62.     In the meantime, do not order from them. I don't know what kind 
  63. of business they run, but obviously this isn't first class. :P
